Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that mop and vacuum offer the convenience of removing dry debris (dust dirt) and wet mess (spills and staining) in one time without the need to switch out devices. They can also reduce space in comparison to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.

A good combination bot should be able to navigate well and have excellent obstacle avoidance. Look for models that have docks that let them automatically empty their bins, fill their water tanks and machine-wash the mopping pads.
1. Eufy S1 Pro
It has a lot to offer for its relatively modest price and is one of the most simple robots we've tested to set up. Unpacking the S1 Pro is simple, and the quick-start guide will get you running with a clean, full dust bag, a hard floor solution and water tank in a matter of minutes.
The S1 Pro is an incredibly powerful machine that can vacuum and mop well. The mops spin at a high rate and employ 2.2 pounds (1kg of force) to quickly get rid of pet hair, dirt and sticky dried spills. The vacuum has four power modes, a selection of brushes and attachments and a user-friendly application that lets you choose the kind of cleaning you'd like for each room.
You can, for example, ask the robot to clean the kitchen and the living room thoroughly but leave the bedroom in its own space. The S1 Pro has excellent front collision sensors as well as smart navigation technology. It is able to recognize small obstacles that other models cannot. The only problem is that it tends to hit walls and objects at full speed. However, robot vacuum cleaners at the cleaning history on the app will reveal exactly what the robot has accomplished, where it's going, and which obstacles he has run into or avoided.
A convenient LCD screen on the docking station informs the maintenance tasks that are required like emptying the debris tray, and rinsing its dirty water tank. It can also mix detergent into the water tank by itself by using a 600ml eufy solution.
Both the S1 Pro vacuum and mop have plenty of run-time and the mop is capable of running for an 184-minute runtime in Quiet mode and the vacuum capable of running for 136 minutes in normal mode, before having to recharge or return to the base to refill. cheap robot vacuum can view the entire cleaning information in the app, which is intuitively laid out and easy to understand although we would like to be able to distinguish between a vacuum and mop clean, when examining a cleaned area in the cleaning history.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the most recent version of Roborock's flagship robot vacuum and mop is the newest version. The model of this year features two agitators built into its mopping pad. This increases the cleaning capabilities of carpets with this model. The S8 Pro Ultra also has improved suction power, allowing it to pull up fine hairs and other debris that other robotic cleaners may miss.
This Roborock model, just like the other two I tested, has infrared and reactive 3D obstacle avoidance technology to help it overcome obstacles like furniture, walls and other obstacles. The S8 Pro Ultra goes one step further and incorporates a dual-camera that can identify objects, determining if they are walls or other surfaces. It is able to change its direction automatically and clean around the objects without stumbling.
This is the most expensive of the three models I've reviewed however, it's also the most feature-packed. Its sleek angular design is striking and only has three physical buttons. The power button, which resumes the cleaning mop button, which doubles as a child-lock and a home button to bring the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens to reveal a 350ml trash bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank is self-emptying and the bin is auto-refilling.
The only issue I have discovered with this model is that its VibraRise mop pad mount is not removable. While you can swap out the mopping cloth (if it's required) however, it's a hassle to remove the mount for manual washing. I've observed that any soft carpet that the robot touches will come into contact with the Velcro-like fastener system on the mount, which can cause scratches.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a range of intelligent features including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. You can configure and manage these via the Roborock app, which is also home to its maps and advanced mopping settings. The app allows you to schedule cleanings and monitor the life of batteries and maintenance on components. However, you'll have to go through a few hurdles to enable voice control on this model, which is a shame considering the performance of this model.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 is an industry-leading robot vacuum and mop with exceptional suction power, advanced mowing capabilities, and a variety of innovative features. Its intelligent design allows for customised and efficient cleaning while also saving time.
The X40 robot vacuum cleaner is the first to offer 12,000 Pascals cleaning power. It is among the most powerful choices available. This powerful vacuum removes dry mess, including pet hair and crumbs. It has a mop of top quality that cleans hard floors without the need for pads. Additionally the X40 is quiet in operation, only producing occasional squeaks of sound when switching modes or completing self-maintenance tasks.
The X40 also has a side brush that is able to be lifted and extended. This lets it reach into corners that are difficult to reach and clean furniture that is curved such as table and chair legs. It also lets the robot to get under furniture with a low profile making it an ideal choice for small apartments and condos with limited space. The side brush also automatically swivels downwards when it detects wet spots. This is a nice touch that assists the X40 avoid damaging floors with the frequent back-and-forth movement.
Unlike some other robots that only focus on one thing, the X40 can do both vacuuming and mopping at the same time or separately. It can also be programmed to skip areas with carpet and mop only hard floors, and vice versa. It can be controlled through the Dreame app or via Alexa, Siri, and Google Home for smooth voice-controlled operation.
The app is simple to use and intuitive, and the X40 has many smart features that are easy to install. Users can program the X40 to clean at certain times. They can also adjust suction power, switch modes, view floor plans and maps and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also monitor its progress and notify you when it's done.
The X40 is easy-to-maintain and offers numerous convenient features, making it a great option for busy families. The docking station automatically empty the dustbin into a huge 3.2 L bin, washes the mop pads, then refills them with fresh water and cleaning solution. It also can detect whether the mop pad is at its maximum capacity and notify you of the situation prior to it bursting.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available. However, it has a number of features that make it stand out. The mops come with a brand new feature called Smart DuoScrub. This makes use of two mops with high-speed motors to clean floors more thoroughly than the traditional method, and it comes with a high maximum suction power of 7,000Pa. This is much higher than the Roborock S8 Pro Ultra or Ecovacs Deebot T20 Omni, and it can clean pet hair and smaller dirt particles - in addition to removing spills and wet spots.
The mop is also dried and cleaned inside the base station after every use. This is a great feature because it prevents the growth of odours and mould in the storage area, and it also makes the mop system a lot more efficient. This is a feature we haven't seen on other robot mop or vacuum models. It could be a great way to keep your home clean longer.
There's an impressive amount of options available that include the ability to schedule cleaning and alter a variety of preferences. The app allows you to define these preferences, or utilize the buttons on the device itself. The app is easy to use and has many options to customize your cleaning routine. It also comes with a number of features that aren't available on other robots, like the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction when it detects any dust particles.
The L20 Ultra is also one of the most elegant robots we've seen on the market, sporting metallic and white colors that looks classy and sophisticated. It is a little heavier at 4kg than some of the other robots on this list however it's not too heavy. It feels solid and well-built. The mopping is also well-designed, and the double rotating mops work well on hard floors and in corners. They can even reach down to 2mm baseboards thanks to the MopExtend feature which is a nice touch.
