Best Automatic Vacuum Cleaner and Mop Combos
Auto-vacuums and mops are great tools to keep your home clean. These robots automatically empty their dirt storage compartments into a base station that sucks up the debris after each cleaning session.
This model is a pro at vacuuming and mopping with excellent floor coverage, outstanding hair pickup and tangle elimination with a near-perfect auto-empty score, and much more. It's also reasonably priced.
iRobot Roomba Combo i5
The iRobot Roomba Combo i5 is small, but powerful robot that excels at mopping and vacuuming hardwood floors. The robot leaves your floors spotless and you can set it up to perform specific tasks. This is a great option for those who have mostly hardwood or linoleum flooring within their home and would like one machine that can do the majority of the cleaning.
The robot is simple to control from your phone. The app is somewhat simple when compared to other brands but it still provides all the essential functions you require. One of the most useful features is the ability to schedule. You can even make an appropriate cleaning schedule for your needs.
It is also possible to control the robot by using your voice, which is great feature. It's compatible with Alexa, Siri, and Google Assistant-enabled devices, so you can simply ask it to clean the kitchen or the entire house. It is also smart enough to be able to understand more commands than other 2-in-1 vacuums and has a special mode to clean up areas that are more soiled.
SMART NAVIGATION
This robot will create an intelligent map of your home using Imprint technology, and then vacuum and mop. It'll be able to detect different floor types and even remove pet hair, dirt and debris. It utilizes Dual Multi-Surface Rubber Brushes that flex to adjust to the flooring type you choose as well as lifting dirt to be sucked up by Power-Lifting Suction.
The vacuum will return to its docking station automatically once the dust bin is filled. The app will alert you when it's time to empty the bin so you can complete the task and continue vacuuming. It's also compatible with iRobot's self-emptying CleanBase, which makes it easier to manage your dirty bins.
There are a few downsides to this product, however. It's expensive, for one. The second issue is that the documentation is minimal and there's nothing in the printed manuals about how to fix issues with wifi connectivity. If budget robot vacuum are able to overcome these minor issues, then the iRobot Roomba Combo is a great investment for your home.
iRobot Roomba Combo j5+
iRobot Combo J5+ is considered to be one of the best robot vacuum cleaners and mop combos on the market. It features a powerful four-stage cleaning system to deal with dust, dirt and pet hair. It also has mopping pads that are designed to remove spills and stains. It is easy to set up and can be connected to your smart home devices. Its advanced navigation generation and mapping capabilities allow it to adapt to various terrain types without getting stuck or getting lost.
The iRobot Combo J5+ is equipped with a powerful electricity management system, which ensures that its battery capacity lasts longer. This lets it clean large areas before having to return to its docking station for recharging. This improves consumer convenience and ensures continuous cleaning classes.
The robot vacuum and mop also comes with an auto-empty bin. This is a huge benefit for busy households, as it reduces the frequency of emptying. It automatically empties debris into a larger container in the charging station. This can hold up to 60 days worth of waste, and is more convenient than a standard mop or vacuum that requires you to empty the bins.
This model, unlike many of its rivals, does not use precision-vision. It relies instead on floor tracking that is basic, algorithm-based navigation and basic floor tracking. This means it might miss a few spots in your home and isn't as effective in avoiding obstacles as the other models. It's still a great vacuum for most debris, and it's available at an affordable cost.
The Roomba Combo J5+ can be controlled with your voice. It is compatible with Alexa-enabled gadgets, such as Siri and Google Assistant. You can instruct the Roomba to start cleaning, look at its map, or build digital obstacles. The app allows you to modify your schedule and keep on top of your cleaning routine.
The Roomba Combo J5+ is an excellent option for homes with a mix of hard floors and carpets. Its smart vacuum and mop technology can recognize and avoid areas with rugs and carpets and does a good job of cleaning hard floors, without smearing carpets. It also performs well with rugs and is able to remove coffee stains that have dried.
Roomba j9+ from iRobot
The Roomba J9+ builds upon previous Roomba improvements. Its increased efficiency and cleaning capabilities make it stand out from its competitors. It's designed for bigger homes with pets, and is able to clean both soft and hard floors. It can tackle dust, dirt and pet hair. It's also the most advanced iRobot Roomba ever, with advanced features such as Dirt Detective and mopping automation that can anticipate your cleaning needs.
Like its predecessor j9+, the new model uses the iRobot's PrecisionVision navigation technology and a camera to sense the presence of obstacles in your home. This allows the robot to navigate and avoid cords, furniture wires, shoes and even pet poop (which it is able to recognize because of iRobot's renowned P.O.O.P guarantee). The j9+ also comes with a smaller, more furniture-friendly self-emptying Clean Base.
Once your robot has cleaned an area it docks at the Clean Base and its dirt bin is automatically emptied. The iRobot Home app records the outcomes of each cleaning job and shows cleaned areas on your map. The app also allows you to choose a specific time to vacuum or mop.
The iRobot Home App will estimate the amount of time required to clean when you select a particular vacuuming or mopping time. You can also select the number of passes to clean (one, two or "room-size" which will tackle large rooms at a time and smaller spaces up to three times). You can also regulate the water level and power and bin's behavior.
The iRobot App also comes with a neat feature called review of images. If the robot encounters an obstacle that it cannot identify, it will take an image and send it to you to review. You can then mark the object as not an obstacle or add an area of Keep-Out around it. The j9+ then avoids the object in future jobs.

A big reason we prefer the j9+ over other robot vacuums is its mopping features that are automatic. When you enable the SmartScrub option in the app, the J9+ will mop the tough dirt and debris that a regular vacuum is unable to remove. It can also identify and get rid of coffee spills, wet spots and dirt. The j9+ doesn't clean its mop pads automatically unlike its competitors, despite having many automatic mopping functions.
iRobot SwitchBot
If you're a lover of robot vacuum cleaners but prefer the multi-purpose of a self-cleaning mop, the SwitchBot is worth a take a look. This tiny robot blends the most desirable features of both categories into an elegant unit that blends seamlessly into your home decor. It's a great vacuum and mops. It can navigate your space across different surfaces. It also has powerful suction that can take care of dust, pet hair and dander.
The SwitchBot is small and compact, giving it an edge in cluttered spaces where larger robots might struggle to maneuver furniture. Once you've connected the SwitchBot to your Wi-Fi, it will display an app on your phone with quick controls, including a button to begin a cleaning task and another to clear any clutter. You can also add zones that are not allowed to be used to stop the bot from accidentally sweeping over things you don't want it to.
During my testing during my testing, the SwitchBot was able to move around my apartment without any problems, and picked up dribbles and crumbs on carpets and hard floors with the vacuum setting. Its smart navigation system uses LDS laser-radar to create a blueprint of your home, so that it can accurately map out the layout. The system also identifies and avoids objects likely to be tangled or crushed by the robot.
When the vac setting on the brush's edge spins and sweeps away any debris that crosses its path. It also reaches underneath tables and chairs, so it's an excellent choice for homes with a lot of family gatherings. The app's settings let you control the speed, direction, and power of the vacuum motor.
When the SwitchBot is in Mops mode, its underside is fitted with a disposable wet smudge that you replace when it is dry. The wipes are cheaper and less wasteful than washable pads that are used in the majority of robotic mop machines. The wipes fit comfortably and prevent them from slipping out as they do on other robot mops. The robot also comes with an instrument for cleaning which is usually hidden in an enclosed compartment on the side of the charging station.
